If you ask what makes Frederick a great place to live, most will respond that it’s the people. But what makes the people so special?
Frederick is filled with amazing artists, musicians, and small business owners. We have festivals that bring families together, dozens of places for beer or wine lovers to connect, and an exciting nightlife scene for those night owls. This isn’t it, though.
Frederick is a great place to live because the people are friendly, giving, and kind. We help other people whether it’s volunteering at the soup kitchen or a selfless act for a stranger.
That’s why we created the Frederick Random Acts of Kindness Facebook Group.
About the Group
Our Facebook Group is a place for all of us to share our Random Acts of Kindness stories. Our goal is to encourage others to be the best version of themselves by spreading love and positivity. Too cheesy? How about: We want to share the stories that make Frederick a great community.
- Did you do something nice for a stranger? Inspire us all by sharing your story! It will help everyone generate ideas for how they, too, can give back to the community.
- Did someone do something nice for you? That’s even better. Tell us about the person who paid for your coffee or meal. The person who held the door for you when you had your hands full. That time when everyone helped search for your purse because you couldn’t remember which bar you left it. (Not that this has happened…)
- Did someone you know give or receive a random act of kindness? We’d love to hear that story, too!
