Deanna Joyce

Deanna is originally from Southern Maryland, but she was introduced to Frederick by the love of her life, Kyle. It took little to no time to fall in love with the area and the people. She spent 10 years of her life exploring Baltimore and surrounding areas while at Towson University earning her Bachelors of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. After graduating, she moved on to Bloomsburg University to earn her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. From there, she spent a few years becoming an expert in patient care at a skilled nursing facility. During this time, she was searching for her next challenge to continue her personal growth and it just so happened that she bought a house during that time. This lead her to her next adventure, which was joining the Troyce Gatewood & Partners team! 

"Being a first-time homebuyer is nothing short of a challenge until you meet the right people that lead you to the finish line. My real estate agent just so happened to become my mentor in the process. While working full-time, I spent my free time studying to become a real estate agent and eventually with a small nudge, took the leap and began real estate full-time. It just so happens that I absolutely love what I am doing. What could be better than leading peers to their largest investment and providing quality service. When I am not fully immersed in prospecting, showing homes, negotiating, and writing contracts for my stellar clients, you’re likely to find me exploring with my friends and family. I am a self-coined foodie and BreWineosaur. All things outdoor are my jam, like hiking and beaching. Re-arranging home-décor is one of my favorite pastimes because it’s the least expensive way to make your home look completely different. One of my most favorite activities is lifting weights. I spend as much time as possible getting those endorphins flowing. Life is all about balance, am I right."
