DINING, ENTERTAINMENT & SHOPPING

Coming Soon - It's very own luxury shopping and dining in the community! Just a short walk from Carrol Creek and Downtown Frederick, American eats reign supreme in Downtown Frederick. At the Tasting Room, steak, shrimp, lamb, and lobster are accompanied by an extensive wine list. Wine Kitchen features a menu designed with wine pairings in a rustic-chic bistro setting. Truffle fries, crab soup, and a garlic steak salad are served at JoJo’s Restaurant & Taphouse, which also specializes in live music and lots of craft beer. Nearby shopping destinations include Relish Decor, where you can find vintage-inspired housewares, kitchenwares, and decor.

THINGS TO DO

Festivals and community events dominate the Downtown Frederick social calendar: In the Streets, hosted in September, closes off busy street blocks to traffic, replacing it with live entertainment and a sampling of local food and wares. Fire in Ice, hosted every February, showcases ice sculptures and live ice carvings, as well as fire performers. Attendees enjoy an Ice Bar on the Creek and s’mores and hot chocolate stations. The Great Frederick Fair exists to promote agriculture, which has a rich history in Frederick. At Baker Park, a 58-acre space located in the heart of Historic Downtown Frederick, there is an annual July 4th Independence Day celebration and a summer concert series.
